Without Vision you will die:Part 2

This is the second part to a previous post. You may read the first part HERE

It's a little past 2:00a and I am in the ZHOP  lounge. The 12:00-2:00a intercession was incredibly good. Father showed up in a very real way. It is so great here at ZHOP  , things are really good. They have a conference starting tomorrow.

I have been thinking a lot lately about having vision for our lives.  What does it mean to have vision? I believe it is the ability to have faith in the dream that Father has for your life. Do dream with him and all that he has for you.

A want to have vision for my life, vision to go deep with G-d into all that he has for me. I want in my life ten years from now. To read the Bible, even the simplest versus and my heart come alive. I desire for my heart to groan. Weeping over even the simplest versus because I know Jesus. Can I dream with  him.

Even when they hate you.....

Mat 5:44 "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

The true outworking of our Love for each other. Loving those who hate you. Blessing those who curse me.  A divine outworking of Love. And this is what Jesus has called everyone under his name to.

Jesus called us to this because it is what he has already done. He Loved those who persecuted him. Jesus walked out peace and joy towards those who were vile at showed hatred to  him. Even unto to the point of death he Loved those who hated him. Dying a shameful death on a cross working out Love for the ones who did not love him.

The greatest expression of Love is to Love those who do not love us . This is a call to Love even when it does not benefit us. To show love towards someone who does not give anything back. He has called us unto to this because it is exactly what Father express' towards us. G-d Loves us even when we do not Love him.

His name is Holy.......

Here is the link to a great song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8nD2EDzVKM
Rev 4:8  The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!"(NKJV)

The fourth chapter of Revelation is one of the most insightful passages in the Bible. It gives us a picture of what is going on in heaven right NOW! In this passage their is a description of  "four living creatures". These beings day and night never stop saying  "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come".
Why is this? Why do they say "Holy"?
Because they can not help but to, it is all that they can say. The Prophet Isaiah saw something very similar.
Isa 6:2  Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.  6:3  And one cried to another and said: "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!" (NKJV)

As they are gathered around the throne all they can think about is holy! all they can say is holy! For everything in G-d is Holy.

Please feel free to share your thoughts

Without Vision you will die.

I was been meditating on the verse as I was practicing Drums after lunch. There are many truths that must be learned regarding  vision and dreaming with G-d that are vital to fulfilling the Lords plan for our life.

Pro 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth
         the law happy is he.

Knowledge Puffs....

I had a conversation  with a co-worker on my lunch break today about different topics regarding the Bible. Lets call this co-worker "johny", not his real name . Hello "johny" if you are reading this. To start off  "johny" and I disagree on several  regarding doctrine and theology. This fact  has been made very evident on several occasions in the past.  And of course through the duration of our conversation today there were a couple of topics that we didn't see eye-to-eye on. AND THATS OK!

I am not saying that we are to except all sorts of strange doctrines. But I must learn to Love those who may not see things the same way I do. Because outside of Salvation by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ  G-d's one and only Son. Nothing else matters. So as believers we need to stop arguing with one another over dates and facts and be one through Love. For in the place of unity the Lords anointing is released (Psalm 133).   So in closing we draw closer to G-d, the source of Love so  that we may be able to walk in unity with another.

Food for thought:
1Co 8:1 Now concerning things offered to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. 1Co 8:2 And if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know. 1Co 8:3 But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him.

May the name of the Lord be invoked upon you.

Did you learn to Love?

The are several things that I believe Jesus will ask us on the day of judgment. And in asking us He is not looking for an answer, he already knows it.  He asks us because he wants us to know the answer.  But I believe that every question will be centered around this one statement.

"Did you learn to Love?"

It does not matter these size of your ministry or the impact in our eyes but did we truly love the Lord when we lived. Were we following His plan for our lives. Can we love even those who hate us, as much as Jesus loves them? I have been pondering this a lot for a couple of days now. There are a lot of circumstances that have provoked me in this but it all culminated around one. There is a ministry that is based in San Fransisco, CA Called JHOP-SF. Those that are based in the ministry genuinely love Jesus and desire His Love to shown around the city of San Fransisco. Last Friday a group from JHOP-SF were worshiping on a street corner in the Castro district of SF. I am not going to through all that happened that night I want you to read the first hand account of what happened , you may read it on JHOP-SF website HERE.  And below is a video account of what happened. NOTE: This video does have a explicit nature as the account is very intense.

Did you read it and watch? If you didn't you should before moving on.
Can we love even those who persecute us? Or  Love those who commit violent acts against our brothers and sisters in Christ? Jesus does.  And he calls us to do the same:

Mat 5:44 "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, (NKJV)

I my at a later time write about how why I believe what JHOP-SF is doing in Gay and Lesbian community is so incredible. But for now I will just say  this “Light does the greatest good in places of darkness.”

In closing: Persecution is coming to all of those who follow Jesus in America and throughout the world.  Maybe now, maybe later. I ask myself and I ask you. Can I love those who hate me, even as Christ loves you and I. And at the end of my Life can I honestly say

Did I learn to Love?
